A career counselling session was conducted today at our school for our 10th and 12th students by Smt. Archana Suresh of Vriksha Counselling, and it was highly useful and informative. She clearly explained various career options with and without JEE and NEET, the places/institutions where these courses are available, and the different competitive examinations students need to appear for, depending on the courses they choose. Her explanation was simple, casual, and student-friendly, which helped students understand even complex information with ease. The session provided much-needed clarity and direction at this crucial stage of academic decision-making. Overall, the counselling session was practical, engaging, and very beneficial. My son was quite confused about choosing his group after completing his 10th board exams. He was interested in both science and computers, but found mathematics a bit challenging, which made the decision even harder for him. We then had a session with Archana ma’am, and it brought a lot of clarity for both of us. I was able to understand my son’s strengths as well as the areas where he needs more support. More importantly, it helped my son gain clarity in choosing his group. Though he didn’t open up much with us initially, he had a very meaningful and comfortable discussion with Archana ma’am, which really helped him. We attended Module 2, which included pre-counseling, a psychometric assessment, and a post-career counseling session. The entire process was insightful and reassuring.Thank you, Archana ma’am, for your guidance and support.
